Saturday morning I woke up bright and early to go yardsaling with Jana. While we were out we met up with Amanda and then went out for breakfast. Butcher Boys was right across the street from where we were at at that moment so we filled our stomachs there. (Their breakfast buffet is awesome....!) Then we decided to come over to my place for a bike ride down the trail by our house. I'm not kidding--it gets more beautiful every time I go down there. There's a creek running right through it so we stopped our bikes and walked out to see it. Here's a few pix I snapped. Enjoy!
Looks like a wolf drinking by the stream...
Nope... It's Blue-Girl!

Funny for the day...
YOU KNOW YOU ARE LIVING IN 2008 when...
1. You accidentally enter your password on the microwave.
2. You haven't played solitaire with real cards in years.
3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of 3.
4. You e-mail the person who works at the desk next to you.
5. Your reason for not staying in touch with friends and family is that they don't have e-mail addresses.
6. You pull up in your own driveway and use your cell phone to see if anyone is home to help you carry in the groceries.
7 . Every commercial on television has a web site at the bottom of the screen.
8. Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn't have the first 20 or 30 (or 60) years of your life, is now a cause for panic and you turn around to go and get it.
10. You get up in the morning and go on line before getting your coffee.
11. You start tilting your head sideways to smile.
12 You're reading this and nodding and laughing.
13. Even worse, you know exactly to whom you are going to forward this message.
14. You are too busy to notice there was no #9 on this list.
15. You actually scrolled back up to check that there wasn't a #9 on this list AND NOW YOU ARE LAUGHING at yourself. Go on, forward this to your friends. You know you want to.

Mary Lynn's Graduation Celebration
Hey everyone!! Just an update. Saturday was Mary Lynn Edwards graduation party in Salsbury. The park was beautiful and once the party got under way, even though they called for thunderstorms, the sun came out and it was a gorgeous day! Here's some random pictures. I took my camera but mostly forgot I was carrying it I was having such a good time. :-o I only got about 15 pictures in all but but these were my favorite. Sorry about the low quality. I'm having some issues with photobucket. :-P
Jamie and Billy arriving at the park...
Melissa the photographer! What an orginial shot. hehe
Elijah says "Come nooo closer with that thing!"
Shane getting his picture taken by the "Camera people"
A shot of Jerimiah talking to his Mama.

Melissa and Emma enjoying theirselves

Shane and Michael headed to play Mini golf.

Shiloh
Hey everyone... For those of you who haven't met this guy, his name is Shiloh. He's a husky and yellow labrador mix. AKA, a very handsome guy. :-) I washed and groomed him today. Well, the best I could anyways. He pretty much slept through it all. I don't usually have to groom him but this year his winter coat didn't shed and he was just suffering from the heat. So I used something called the "Fur-minator". It pulls all the loose undercoat (His winter fluff) out and leaves the top layer. Really handy... He didn't enjoy his bath but I'm sure he feels better now that it's over. lol
His serious side...
Now for his glamour shots... lol
Huh?
Sorry buddy... I don't dare comment on this one.
I put my pocket knife in this pick so you could get a size estimate... The knife is a little over two inches long. So imagine all that hair... Ugh. Who wants a fur coat in July?

Is it summer already?
Hi all! Just some pictures from around the house here. It's getting soo hot! Actually, it's stayed hot so long that it's fooled the blackberries and mulberries into ripening early. I wonder if this means they'll stop putting on berries before August--when they usually get ripe. While it's been pretty hot and sticky weather in the daytime, it sure has made for some wonderful evenings outdoors.
Buddy rolling
Blackberry bushes... Looks like they'll be ripe early this year!
Grandpa's corn
His Okra is coming up too...
The Mulberries are almost ripe too!
Just random. ;-)
